Our
Projects

This year, the Chicago Juneteenth Planning Coalition (CJPC) has launched a scholarship and dance competition. In addition, CJPC is partnering with various community partners to raise visibility of issues impacting Black Chicagoans.

The Chicago Juneteenth Planning Coalition, in partnership with the Black Remembrance Project and Adelmarieproduction, is coordinating a Juneteenth dance competition for African American youth. The dance competition will include two styles of dance that have cultural significance to Black Chicagoans: Footworking and Hip Hop dance.
